Ice Wine Muscat Ottonel, 2011

Ice Wine is an aged sweet white wine produced from frozen Muscat Ottonel. The fruit is harvested as soon as the temperature in the vineyard drops below -8° Celsius and is immediately pressed into an extract of pure, unctuous juice.

Chateau Vartely’s Ice Wine is an extraordinarily refreshing sweet wine with rich golden coloration and aromas reminiscent of tropical fruits and pears in the peak of ripeness, with hints of honey. The palate is lively with a balanced acidity and a rich luscious feeling of decadence. The lengthy and rich flavours and aromas encapsulate all the senses, leaving a truly harmonious experience.

This wine pairs well with various desserts like cheese-cake or creme brûlée.

Serve chilled, at about 8 degrees Celsius.
